After graduating with Honors from Dental Assisting School in Toronto, Christine sought out a position with an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon where she assisted in third molar extractions, biopsies, dental implant placement, narcotic IV preparation and post op care for jaw surgeries. Other assisting positions followed with opportunities to work with progressive, ambitious dentists whose business mindset modeled clinical excellence, treatment coordination, practice growth, new technology and comprehensive patient care. She was exposed to diverse dental philosophies and developed an in-depth understanding of how all dental disciplines merge to benefit the patient.
Christine went on to score a challenging position with a dental marketing firm where she travelled throughout North America conducting needs analyses for dentists and helping them articulate their philosophy and business objectives. She created formal written marketing plans and fulfilled all the deliverables including, logo design and corporate branding, content writing, print brokering, shipping and art direction for all graphic design products.
Today she is privileged to work alongside Dr. Emil Svoboda, PhD, DDS who has identified two root causes of prosthetic related peri-implant disease and offers solutions to these problems visa vie his use of well-designed abutments, prostheses and supporting Protocols. Dr. Svoboda’s study of current literature, his original research and collaborative prosthetic designs have culminated in a unique understanding of the problems surrounding peri-implant disease experienced by dentists and their patients.
Together, Christine and Dr. Svoboda are delivering this fresh information to the marketplace for all dentists to use in practice.
